Summer Plans
I can't believe it's almost May... which means it's almost June.... which means we're almost done with high school!!!!! Even though I haven't really made any set summer plans, there are a few things I'll need to get around to doing. I'm going to buy any furniture that I can't "borrow" from my sister for my new dorm room. Definitely, going to catch up on some sleep. Plus, there's a trip to Hurricane Harbor being planned... even though that's not really summer yet. That's going to happen in May after prom. And by that time, NBA Playoffs will be over. My team OKC should be this year's champions if Miami continues to be disappointing, which is probably going to be the case so long as the coach (who doesn't really coach but says stupid stuff in between plays) stays the same. Oh, well. =D Go OKC <3

Season Premieres
Well, the second season of the A&E drama Breakout Kings aired this week. I have to say that I actually like the show. I hadn't watched any of last season, but the promos were so good, I decided to give it a chance. *Spoilers* The team jumped right into a plot, that should play out for the entire season, of trying to capture two escaped murderers. Unfortunately in the process, the character played by Laz Alzono (probably a misspelling of his name sorry) turned down a promotion offer only to be killed in the last few minutes of the show. The cons got away, but we'll see them again later this season. Also, the comedy GCB aired this week. I'm sorry to say I missed it. As soon as I see it, I'll post my review.
HSPA Testing
One perk of being a senior... no HSPA testing! I get to sleep late for the next two days and relax. I remember taking the test last year, I hated coming in at 8AM while everyone else go to sleep. Morning sleep is the best kind. All these standardize tests seem the same, SAT, HSPA, PSAT. The essay and math were probably the worst parts. It takes me forever to write a good essay, especially when I don't necessarily like the topic. Math is hit-or-miss. Some stuff I know, others... not so much. Either way, I'm just happy I don't have any more huge tests for the rest of the year.

Midterms
Exam week is finally over... yay! Overall, I only had 3 exams that I had to come in for. I had Pre-AP Economics and and Statistics both on Monday and then Mythology on Wednesday. It was a pretty short week. I'm happy it's over and that there's not much more to do 'til graduation. And with some reference to my blog's topic of television, the NBA season has been more than disappointing and a new season of Real World/Road Rules Challenge has started... Wednesday nights at 10PM.

Happy New Year
It's finally 2012.... and even though some people think it's everyone's last year, we might as well make the most of it. I graduate this year yay! ^__^ & next year, I plan to be in NYC for New Year's Eve with friends. I would love to get a car sometime this year, but realistically that probably won't happen. Not too much is set for this year, but I'm hoping it's better than 2011. & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

Holiday Break
Even with Christmas being only about a week away, I don't have that many set plans. Dinner with family, going out with friends, and of course watching TV, that's about it. Hopefully, I'll get the 3rd season of the Sons of Anarchy as a Xmas gift. For those of you who follow the show, you know the 4th season just ended with an amazing season finale. Jax learns the truth about everything Clay has done and is forced to stay in Charming. He makes Clay step down as president, which will be a huge storyline in the upcoming season. In an interview with Kurt Sutter, the writer and creator of the show, he said SOA will probably only have about 7 seasons. So, we have 3 more seasons to look forward to =D . Anyway, my Christmas will definitely consist of watching the new and incredibly SHORT NBA season. Celtics vs. Knicks are the first game at noon. It seems like the Xmas games are mostly rematches of the playoffs. Miami vs Dallas. Lakers vs. Bulls, and Oklahoma vs someone. I forgot who. I want Miami, Boston and OKC to win. Most of the other shows that I'd be watching have already aired their holiday specials. Modern Family and The Middle will both be showing re-runs. So, those are my plans.
